重品《女人香》

很小很小的時候，當家裡還是租錄影帶的時候，已經忘記是看什麼片子，在它片頭的預告就是女人香。但那時的我還不知道這是一部什麼樣的電影。

 

大一的閱讀課，瑪姬老師截了其中一小段對白給我們，是法蘭克替查理在委員會發表意見的那段，其中幾段文字我還是心有慼慼。這個故事又有喧囂和孤寂的成分在，但我今天不想這樣討論，我只想說我想說的部份。

 

...what kind of leader your producing is, I don't know if Charlie's silence is right or wrong,  I am not the jusdge, but I can tell you that he won't sell anybody out to buy his future. That's call integrity,  that's call courage, now that's the stuff a leader should be made of. Now I've come to the crossroad of my life, I always knew what the right path was, without expection, I knew, but I never took , you know why? because it's too damn hard....

 

那天，瑪姬老師還教我們一首Robert Frost的詩

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and I--
I took the less travelled by
And that had made all the different.

也許我不愛這首詩，但這是一首詩我能夠至少背出三句的詩。我從來沒有想過我能當詩人，感謝老天。

 

女人香，這首曲還是要聽絃樂版。
